The LifeLens
How do we find common ground? The LifeLens first asks: Where did we come from? What do we all depend on for our survival on this planet? From there, take a more detailed look through each lens: the Life Lens and the Human Lens. And finally, in Integration, see how both lenses work inextricably together.

The LifeLens
The LifeLens is a novel approach for finding common ground based on two simple and fundamental frameworks or “lenses,” the Life Lens and the Human Lens. By looking through these lenses, one is able to cut through the clutter and complexity to focus on what is most meaningful in our lives. It is you, the reader, who decides what matters most to you. The LifeLens is simply a way to get there. In the process, it builds common understanding of the urgent choices before us if we are to become a more humane and sustainable world. You are invited to try on these two lenses and see how they fit. (You may find that you are already using them without realizing it!) For a more detailed summary, see LifeLens Background >
“Because we all share this planet earth, we have to learn to live in harmony and peace with each other and with nature. This is not just a dream, but a necessity.” - Dalai Lama
